The Sweepstakes is an event during Player Appreciation Week. It started after Midnight on May 1st, 2012 and runs for exactly 7 days. Read the guide below how to get sweepstakes ticket and enter this event

In the cityville application complete the quests presented to You in order to reach level 5. Once You have reached level five (5) you may earn entries via the following Entry Methods. Each entry purchased or earned will include one in-game item.
A. Each day you logon to the application CityVille during the Promotional Period you will earn one (1) entry.
B. For each Quest you complete during the Promotional Period you will earn one (1) entry.
C. For every ten (10) City Cash spent during the Promotional Period you will earn one (1) entry.
D. For every building completed during the Promotional Period you will earn one (1) entry.
E. You may purchase one (1) entry for 1 City Cash at any time during the Promotional Period.
F. You may purchase ten (10) entries for 9 City Cash at any time during the Promotional Period.

if you get a sweepstakes ticket you’ll see this pop up :
“Congratulations, you earned 1 sweepstake ticket towards the 1023 city cash prize ! Get more tickets by playing every day, completing goals and buildings, or purchasing tickets for city cash !”
